Tandoori varieties
Traditionally tandoor varieties are cooked in special clay ovens called tandoors. Now a days tandoor items can be cooked with the help of electric/gas ovans. Chicken, mutton /meat, fish, prawns etc can be cooked in tandoori style with necessary ingrediants and preparation. You will find in this section recipes for most of the chicken, mutton and fish tandoor items. Generally tandoor items are marinated in prepared ingrediants and cooked in oven and served dry, accompanied by chutneys.
Roti's/Naan (Indian bread)
Naans, Roties, Chapaties, Parathas, Kulchas etc are prepared with wheat flour. Chapaties can be prepared with much less effort using ordinary `tawa´ and Naan, Paratas etc needs some preparation and cooked in oven. Naans can be cooked stuffed with paneer (cottage cheese), spinach, minced meat etc.

Vegetarian Thali, which is a balanced meal, is generally served with 2 or 3 vegetable curries, roties/nans or rice, yogurt/raitha, papadams, pickles etc. in a large plate/banana leaf for lunch and dinner.
Vegetable cuisine

Accompaniments

Making raithas are very easy. Main ingredients of Raithas are yogurt, chopped fruits and vegetables. Add salt to taste and spices, mouth-watering and healthy raithas are ready!
Non-Vegetarian Dishes
India is home for mouth watering dishes. Dry dishes such as keema, chicken tikka and saag aloo and may be served as starters as well as main course dishes. Generally 'masala' dishes are saucey and ideal with naans, rotis and rice.
